Join your colleagues to celebrate the exceptional work of Michigan's museum community during the annual awards presentation on April 25 at the Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm.
The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm is a nationally registered historic site that contains the 1840 Van Hoosen Farmhouse, the 1888 Red House, and the 1927 Dairy Barn that has been converted into a year-round exhibit gallery. Situated in a 16 acre park, the site includes Stoney Creek stream, gardens, agricultural barns, and a nearby pioneer schoolhouse and cemetery.
You won't want to miss this night of history, light hors d'oeuvres and drinks, and the opportunity to mingle with your colleagues as we honor this year's award recipients!

Volunteers can play a vital role in an institutions success. Retaining, training and managing volunteers is important to a flourishing volunteer program. Volunteers however, aren't incentivized in the same way as paid staff and as a result working with volunteers can be resource heavy. The Michigan Arts and Culture Council (MACC) offers grants to support the work of Michigan museums. Join Alex Flannery, MACC Program Officer, to learn about changes to their grant programs for Fiscal Year 2025.
