MACC Operational Support Grants

The grant application guidelines for the Michigan Arts and Culture Council (MACC) Operational Support grants have changed since last year and the June 1 deadline will be here before we know it. Join the call with MACC Program Officer Alex Flannery to hear about the changes and the program. 

Nonprofit museums in Michigan are eligible to apply for a grant of$5,000-$60,000 (depending on organization budget size) in the Operational Support grant program offered by MACC. Eligible nonprofit museum types include art museums, children’s museums, science museums, history museums, historical societies, botanical gardens, zoos/aquariums, and more! This annual funding opportunity is designed to help organizations cover basic operating expenses including wages/salaries/contractors, rent/mortgage, supplies, marketing, programming costs, facility maintenance, and more. In this session, learn all the ins-and-outs of the Operational Support application process and ask all your burning grant-writing questions!

Location: The MMA Zoom account. You can join via phone or internet. Instructions for connecting will be sent with registration confirmation.
